Abstract

Management of tourism objects is crucial to increase the locally-generated revenue (Pendapatan Asli Daerah/PAD) for the Malang Rapat Village, Bintan Regency. A tourism object is any place or natural condition that tourism resources intended to be developed and designed to appeal to tourists' attractions. The research used a qualitative method (Lexy Moleong, 2006: 04), will focus on seeing how the Management of the Madu Tiga Beach & Resort Tourism Object in the Village of Malang Rapat, Bintan Regency to increase locally-generated revenue. The research studied on the theory presented by George R. Terry (Sukarna, 2011:11) regarding four management functions, namely: Planning, Organizing, Implementation, Supervision. The research shows that Madu Tiga Beach & Resort Tourism Object management is good enough to make it the best in the Malang Rapat village and increase the village economy. Then the requirement role and performance of the local government as a contribution, coordination, control, monitoring supported by other related agencies in exploring and developing the exists potential in the Madu Tiga Beach & Resort Tourism Object management as well as the need for cooperation and coordination between local governments, village governments, and related agencies and local communities, to achieve common goals.
