This study aims to reveal village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) in increasing village empowerment. This research was conducted in Pengujan Village, Teluk Bintan District, Bintan Regency. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. Data obtained by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study reveal that BUMDes has three business units, namely pic up rental, tent rental and other equipment and single band / organ rental which is still running until now and these 2 business units are running well even though sometimes there are changes in running this business unit. because of the lack of community participation in BUMDes activities. The management of BUMDes in the pengujan village of Teluk Bintan District, Bintan Regency, has been established since 2018 to maximize its role in community members, as it has not been evenly distributed for the community, this is due to errors and lack of performance and management of BUMDes in processing the potential in the village. The findings of this study are as follows: (1) The management of village-owned enterprises in increasing the empowerment of village communities provides assistance or business capital and provides support in the rental business. (2) the development of village-owned enterprises in the beginning, the Pengujan Village community did not know the existence of BUMDes that could help in advancing the business they were running so that it could develop more in improving the business economy of the village community.The conclusion to answer the problem formulation that has been proposed in this study is that at first the problem in this study was that the community participated in the BUMDes of Pengujan Village and after conducting the research, many people were involved in managing this Village-Owned Enterprise, and many people had already had the economy. increased from before.
