Abstract

The communication pattern of fishermen is a system, they use a pattern of communication group, which since long ago when the fishermen have a fishing site that is close to each other so it is possible to do communication while waiting for the catch, the fishermen people do not fully utilize the information technology because in East Tarempa village most of the people have no skills in the field of information technology. This method of research is a qualitative descriptive. This qualitative descriptive research researcher will provide a systematic, factual and accurate picture of the facts according to the scope of the research. With a total of 5 informant consisting of government and community. Based on the research results of the community communication Model of fishermen in the Era of Information technology (study in the village Tarempa east of the district of Anambas Islands) is interpersonal communication, where the fishermen only communicate with fellow fishermen to seek information, exchange information. Fishermen in Tarempa village east of the district of Anambas Islands only communicate with fellow fishermen, and nearby people like close relatives, as well as neighbors. Communication is a interpersonal communication where communication between fishermen, this type of communication is considered most effective in the effort to change the attitude, opinions or behaviors of a person, because it is a dialogue in the form of conversation.
