Abstrak

Micro small and medium enterprises (UMKM) are one of the steps in seeking to improve economic development. Lingga Regency has the potential of human resources in the field of skills that can encourage the community's economy. To improve this economy towards a better direction, guidance is needed from the relevant agencies for the micro small and medium enterprises (UMKM) community, in this case the disperindagkop in Lingga Regency. The purpose of coaching is so that the community is able to develop their creative business independently and sustainably through the provision of knowledge, socialization and education on the community's creative economy. To support obtaining the results in this study, the researcher used the theory proposed by Mathis (2002) about coaching. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to make it easier for researchers to describe the findings of researchers based on observations and data collection techniques by researchers in the field. Through the stage of collecting data in the field and strengthening research by researchers with the methods and theories used, it was found that the results of research regarding the development of micro small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Lingga Regency towards creative economy communities by the disperindagkop has been going well. The people of Lingga Regency who run micro, small and medium enterprises such as in the fields of culinary, handicrafts and culture that are able to become a source of income for the community independently have been able to carry out their creative businesses. In addition, the moral and material support from the Lingga district government provides convenience and marketing opportunities and creative business development for the Lingga district community.
