IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK PADA JENJANG SMA DI KOTA TANJUNGPINANG TAHUN 2019

Abstract

Continuing the government's efforts to accelerate the equality of education is the establishment of a zoning system stated in Permendikbud No. 14 of 2018, namely The Acceptance of New Learners (PPDB) which emphasizes the distance or radius between the student's home and the school, thus who is closer to the school he is more entitled to educational services from the school. The implementation of the zoning system also proves that tanjungpinang city is not ready to implement the system. This is because the unevenness of educational facilities and infrastructure or schools is the root of the problem of the implementation of the zoning system. As in Tanjungpinang Timur, schools are still very minimal. So that the existing school is contested because of the distance factor. The purpose of this research is to find out the Implementation of Student Admission Policy at high school level in Tanjungpinang City in 2019. In this study, the authors used descriptive qualitative research. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the Implementation of Student Admission Policy at the High School Level in Tanjungpinang City in 2019 has not gone well because there are still many obstacles and obstacles for schools. The problem is that the community still considers the existence of favorite schools, even though the whole high school is the same, so the government issued zoning rules, so that easy access and transportation, lack of public understanding of the terms and procedures, so there are still protests at the announcement.
