PERAN BPSK KOTA TANJUNGPINANG DALAM PENYELESAIAN SENGKETA KONSUMEN

Abstract

BPSK Tanjungpinang City is an Agency that has the Role to provide Protection to Consumers. Because the Duties and Functions mandated by Article 52 of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection with the aim and determination to resolve disputes with a win-win solution, fast, cheap and simple without cost. The formulation of the problem of this research is How the Role of BPSK in Tanjungpinang City in Consumer Dispute Resolution and How is the settlement of consumer disputes by BPSK in Tanjungpinang City. This research method uses a normative method by using descriptive qualitative data analysis. The results obtained from the study are BPSK Tanjungpinang City has been able to play a role to provide protection to consumers because all the tasks and functions mandated by Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection can be implemented and implemented. BPSK Tanjungpingang City also in resolving disputes that occur between consumers and business actors is through the method of mediation, conciliation and arbitration as mandated by legislation
