Abstract

underground music lovers in Tanjungpinang City.
The theory used in this study is the theory of differentiation assosiation by Edwin H. Sutherland which explains the process of deviant behavior. The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative method. Researchers conducted this research with a qualitative descriptive approach, the researchers chose informants through purposive sampling techniques with male and female informants criteria aged 17-25 years and data collection techniques in the form of interviews, documentation and observation.
The results of this study the researchers found the deviant behavior of connoisseurs of underground music in the city of Tanjungpinang is deviant behavior such as drinking, consuming drugs / drugs, and free sex. In addition to these findings, researchers also found that there were music lovers who had stumbled legal cases as a result of consuming marijuana. As a result of his actions he gets a negative label / label, becomes difficult to get a decent job in the future and the impact of repeating the mistakes they once made
