Abstract

This study discusses the effect of finger print attendance and remuneration on the work quality of employees of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Raja Ali Haji Maritime University, Tanjung Pinang. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of finger print attendance and remuneration on the quality of work of employees of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Raja Ali Haji Maritime University, Tanjungpinang. The type of this study is associate research using a quantitative approach. The techniques used for data collection in this study are questionnaires, observations and documentation studies. Data retrieval is carried out using the Saturated Sampling method with a total sampling of 19 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this study is a multiple correlation technique with hypothesis testing through multiple linear regression processed with the SPSS version 26 program. The results of the calculation of multiple linear regression tests with a significance level of 5%, which the value of Sig. F Change is less than 5% (0.002 > 0.05). Based on this value, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the results of the Determination Coefficient (R) it was found that the effect between finger print attendance and remuneration on the quality of work of employees was 0.531 or 53.1%. This proves that the effect between finger print attendance and remuneration on the quality of work of employees is in accordance with the coefficient interval 0.60 - 0.799 (strong). The simultaneous contribution of finger print variables and remuneration to employee work quality was 53.1%, while the remaining 46.9% is determined by other variables not included in this study. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect between finger print attendance and remuneration simultaneously on the quality of work of employees at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Raja Ali Haji Maritime University, Tanjungpinang
