TINJAUAN YURIDIS TERHADAP PERNIKAHAN DINI MENURUT KOMPILASI HUKUM ISLAM (STUDI KASUS DI TANJUNG BALAI KARIMUN)

Abstract

Early marriage is a marriage that occurs between a man and a woman who is still under the control of their parents. Religious understanding, Pregnancy Outside Marriage and Parents' Attention are the main factors in early marriage. This study aims to review and find out what causes early marriage in Tanjung Balai Karimun. The method used in this research is normative-empirical with 22 informants. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, documentation. The results showed that early marriage that occurred in Tanjung Balai Karimun in 2018-2019 has increased due to factors of pregnancy outside marriage, parental factors, and understanding factors of adolescents, and the results of research according to a compilation of Islamic law show that early marriage that occurred in Tanjung Balai Karimun does not comply with the age limit stipulated in Article 7 of Law No. 16 of 2019 concerning Marriage.
