Based on KPLP data on marine pollution from 2019-2020, 3 cases entered KPLP Batam. In accordance with the mandate of the law against marine pollution. One of the institutions that are stressed in enforcing the law on marine pollution in the Batam area is KPLP, based on this explanation, the research problem is how the implementation of criminal law enforcement against marine pollution carried out by KPLP Batam. The purpose of this research is to see the implementation of law enforcement by KPLP Batam against marine pollution in Batam waters. The research method uses normative law. The results obtained from this research are that law enforcers have made preventive efforts to improve the surrounding environment. In law enforcement, factors related to law enforcers, namely law, law enforcement, facilities, or facilities. The legal basis for perpetrators of marine pollution in Batam waters in national law is regulated in Law Number 32 of 2009 and Law (UU) Number 17 of 2008 concerning Shipping as special rules. The conclusion from the results of research in the enforcement of criminal law against marine pollution in Batam that the national regulation governing marine pollution by ships is Law no. 32/2009, and Law no. 17/2008. The provisions of each statutory regulation, different law enforcement officials, and different law enforcement instruments. With regard to the prevention of marine pollution, those who try to deal with it are the Minister of Environment, Governors, or regents/mayors (Law No. 32/2009), and KPLP (Law No. 17/2008. However, this disharmony problem could be resolved if there were good coordination among law enforcement officials. Criminal law enforcement is not limited to the shipping sector but also related to the environment.
