FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PEMILIHAN UMUM LEGISLATIF DPR RI dan DPD RI di DESA RAWA JAYA KECAMATAN MORO TAHUN 2019

Abstract

The purposes of this study is First, to find out the political participation of the voting community in the implementation of elections held in 2019 especially in Karimun Regency. Second, to find out the factors that influence the low voter participation in the DPR RI Legislative and the DPD RI general election in 2019. Main problems on this thesis are what become the factor causing the low community participation in the Legislative body of the Republic of Indonesia DPR and DPD RI in Rawa Jaya Village, Moro District in the 2019 general election. and quality (data) depth. with the location of the study in Rawa Jaya Village, Moro District, Karimun Regency. Data collection consisted of in-depth and unstructured interviews with informants who were the subjects of this study totaling 10 informants, and documentation in the form of notes, and photographs. The techniques of the analysis data are by reducing data, data presentation in the form of tables and sentence descriptions, and drawing conclusions based on data analysis of direct interviews and secondary data. The results showed that the public did not know the name of the DPR RI and DPD RI Legislative candidates who took part in the contestation, so that the community preferred not to cast their votes. The factors influencing the community not to give their vote are social and economic status factors, trust in the government, and political awareness.
