STRATEGI MASYARAKAT DESA DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN OBJEK WISATA GUNA MENINGKATKAN DAYA SAING DI DESA PENGUDANG, KECAMATAN TELUK SEBONG, KABUPATEN BINTAN

Abstract

Pengudang Village is quite enthused by local and foreign tourists need a strategy from local people who can create strong business competitiveness so that tourists not only look at private managed tourism only, but rather tourism managed by the local community as well. This research aims to determine the strategy of village community in developing tourism objects to increase competitiveness in Desa Pengudang, sub-district Teluk Sebong, Bintan regency. This method of research is a qualitative descriptive.
This qualitative descriptive research researcher will provide a systematic, factual and accurate picture of the facts according to the scope of the research. With a total of 5 informant consisting of government and community
The results of this study are in the dimensions of objects and tourist attractions, found that for the roads in Pengudang Village is still very lacking, the community has been trying to provide input through musrenbang activities but has not received a serious response from the government, the dimension of tourism facilities found that in Pengudang Village there are already several homestays, then transportation, public facilities, dimensions of governance (infrastructure) found that the physical development seen today is the construction of roads only , if for other developments let alone that support tourism is very minimal, then the dimension of society (environment) found that the community has sought to build proximity to tourists by holding activities such as exhibitions that promote the potential of tourism in Pengudang Village which will later attract outside tourists.
The conclusion in this study was found that the village community of Teluk Sebong in developing tourism objects has not been optimal but there are some who still need to be considered for the road in their village but still there is a need to get attention from the government is the facilities and infrastructure, besides it is also expected from the private sector can be involved in the developer of the attraction that aims to increase.
