KONTROL SOSIAL TERHADAP PERILAKU MENYIMPANG REMAJA DI DESA GUNUNG KIJANG KABUPATEN BINTAN

Abstract

This research discusses the deviant behavior of adolescents who are not in accordance with the rules of values and norms in Gunung Kijang Village. The deviant behavior that occurs is drinking alcoholic drinking, stealing, bullying, and illegal racing, all of which are very bad for teenagers. The purpose of this research is to explain how social control of adolescent deviant behavior in Gunung Kijang Village, Gunung Kijang District, Bintan Regency. Researchers used qualitative research methods, ith informant determination tecniques, namely purposive sampling tecnique, he researcher took as many as 8 informants who were deemed able to answer and get the information needed by the researcher. With data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses Ivan Nye’s social control theory. The result of this study and findings conclude that there is social control of adolescent deviant behavior in order to minimize and control adolescent deviant behavior. Social control exercised by parents is restrictions on going out of the house, advice, and the application of religious value(recite), social control from the community and community leaders is an approach to adelescents, reprimands, supervision, and guidance, as well as social control from the village government is the establishment of rules and providing a forum(youth organizations and youth  families). All forms of social control are carried out in order to minimize and control adolescent deviant behavior
