STRATEGI PEMBANGUNAN DAN PENGEMBANGAN DESTINASI DESA WISATA DI KABUPATEN BINTAN (Studi di Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Bintan)

Abstract

Tourism is a variety of tourist activities (activities carried out by a person or group of people). And it is supported by various facilities and services provided by the community, businessmen, government and local governments. So the development of this sector can be used as an inspiration to revive the habits of society that have been running so far. However, the current phenomenon is the lack of support from local communities who are still unable to maintain the existing Nature Tourism facilities, thus hampering the development of the area's tourism area. The research objective was to identify the Development Strategy and Development of Tourism Village Destinations in Bintan Regency which consisted of several dimensions, namely: Objectives, Policies and Programs. The results of this study indicate that the Development and Development Strategies carried out at the Culture and Tourism Office are: (1). The goals, objectives of the Bintan Regency Tourism and Culture Service in the Development and Development of Tourism Village Destinations are: To become an additional source of income, create jobs, improve the environment, increase economic resources, increase public attention to natural resources and improve skills in village tourism Human Resources. (2). Policy, As for the Policy of the Bintan Regency Culture and Tourism Office in developing culture and tourism. In order to realize the expected vision and mission, a general policy was established to increase the role of culture as the basis for community-based regional tourism development supported by innovation, strengthening / sharpening marketing, increasing accessibility and connectivity, developing tourism human resources, and synergy between tourism actors. (3). Programs The programs carried out by the Regional Government in the Development and Development of Tourist Village Destinations in Bintan Regency, in this case improvements related to facilities and infrastructure such as road access, toilets, gazebos, maintenance of other facilities and infrastructure are the right steps to support visitor satisfaction with the areas of the Destination. Tourism Village, so it must be realized as soon as possible.
