EFEKTIVITAS PROGRAM KELUARGA HARAPAN (PKH) DALAM PENANGGULANGAN PENGENTASAN KEMISKINAN DI KECAMATAN MERAL KABUPATEN KARIMUN

Abstract

Poverty is a real thing for those who feel living in poverty. This is a problem that is always faced by humans, and the problem of poverty is a global social problem, for that further treatment is needed. In terms of alleviating poverty, the government is aware of the importance of this problem, the Indonesian government has attempted to tackle poverty alleviation through several poverty reduction strategies that are divided into several clusters, one of which is the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH). The Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) is a cash-based assistance program and social protection for the fulfillment of basic rights aimed at improving the quality of life of the poor for a better life. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) in Meral District, Karimun Regency from the aspects of program input, process, and output. This study uses quantitative descriptive research with data collection methods using a questionnaire distribution instrument with the number of samples in this study were 19 respondents. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) in Meral District, Karimun Regency on the aspects of input, process, and output components of education has been effective. The percentage of research results on the input aspect shows that the total research score is 847 with a total percentage of 79.60%, the process aspect is 83.33%, and the output aspect of the education component shows the percentage result is 100%. Then for the output aspect in the health and social welfare component it has not been said to be effective because it has not reached the expected percentage target. The conclusion that can be drawn from the effectiveness of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) in Meral District, Karimun Regency as a whole shows that it has been effective.
