Covid-19 is a large family of viruses that spread disease in humans and animals. The government as one of the policy makers who made this covid-19 a national disaster. This is because the increasing number of cases in Tanjungpinang City. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of mayoral regulation no 44 of 2020 concerning the application of discipline and law enforcement of health protocols as an effort to prevent and control covid-19 in Tanjungpinang City. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with information as many as 11 people and uses data collection and data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of mayoral regulation no 44 of 2020 concerning the application of discipline and law enforcement of health protocols as an effort to prevent and control covid-19 in Tanjungpinang City in terms of communication in its implementation has gone well such as through radio, television, social media, to directly during patrols. Resources in implementing mayoral regulation no 44 of 2020 concerning the application of discipline and law enforcement of health protocols as an effort to prevent and control COVID-19 in Tanjungpinang City are sufficient, both from human resources, resources and facilities. The disposition in its implementation is quite maximal, although there are still obstacles between the government and the community. Implementation in its implementation there are already rules in implementing regulation 44 of 2020 concerning the application of discipline and law enforcement protocols as an effort to prevent and control the Covid-19 of Tanjungpinang City. The obstacle in this research is that there are still people who don't care and understand the dangers of COVID-19, thus violating health protocols
