Abstract

The Village Consultative Body or what is called by which other is an institution that carries out government functions whose members are representatives of the villagers based on the representation of democratically appointed areas. In Batu Belubang Village of Bakung Serumpun District of Lingga Regency, BPD has carried out its duties and functions in accordance with Law No. 6 of 2014 on Villages. The role of BPD in village government is very important, because BPD is a forum for the aspirations of the village community to participate in the implementation of village government, and BPD is expected to be able to become an institution that controls various mandate implementation and policy implementation in the village. The purpose of this study is to find out the Implementation of the Role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD). This study uses the CIPP evaluation model theory developed by Stufflebeam (Wirawan, 2012:92). This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The study found that the Implementation of the Role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in Batu Belubang Village has not gone well. Although it does not run in accordance with its functions and duties, BPD has tried its best to carry out its duties and functions to the community. The conclusion of this study is that there is still less than optimal implementation of the Role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in Batu Belubang Village
