Abstract

Implementation of the functions of the city's National Narcotics Agency (BNNK) in tackling the circulation of narcotics in the city of Tanjungpinang, there is still a level of narcotics trafficking and abuse in the city of Tanjungpinang marked by the rampant activity of drug abuse in the community, as well as differences in data regarding narcotics crime cases. In terms of dealing with circulation, eradication, abuse of narcotics and narcotic precursors is the duty and function of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), for the district given authority and responsibility to each District National Narcotics Agency in their respective areas. The formulation of the problem in this research is the extent to which the implementation of the functions of the City National Narcotics Agency (BNNK) in tackling the circulation of narcotics in the city of Tanjungpinang and what are the obstacles in the implementation of these functions. The objectives in this research are to know and learn how far is the implementation of the function of the City National Narcotics Agency (BNNK) in tackling the circulation of narcotics in the city of Tanjungpinang and what are the obstacles faced in the implementation of these functions. This research method uses empirical juridical method with a library approach and data analysis with observation, interview, documentation and literature study. The results of the author's research on the implementation of the functions of the City National Narcotics Agency (BNNK) in tackling the circulation of narcotics in the city of Tanjungpinang still slow and not optimal because there is no eradication field in the structure of the City National Narcotics Agency (BNNK) Tanjungpinang, and the obstacles they face include law and law enforcement, facilities and infrastructure, Public.
