KINERJA LEMBAGA PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DALAM PEMBANGUNAN DI KELURAHAN PENYENGAT KECAMATAN TANJUNGPINANG KOTA

Abstract

This study discusses the lack of performance of LPM in Penyengat Kelurahan, Tanjungpinang Kota Subdistrict, which gives the impression that the LPM performance of Penyengat Kelurahan is still declining, as indicated by the existence of building inventory data that LPM does not actively work on due to the many limitations of LPM. This makes the writer interested in knowing the performance of the LPM in the Penyengat Village. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the LPM in development in the Kelurahan Penyengat, Tanjungpinang Kota District. This type of research to answer this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. Data analysis techniques to answer this study using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the performance of LPM Penyengat Kelurahan Tanjungpinang Kota based on the theory used according to Faustino Cardoso Gomes (2010: 142), namely quality of work, quantity of work, cooperation, trustworthiness / responsibility, initiative, work knowledge / insight, and creativity, From the seven indicators, the performance of LPM Penyengat in its performance is less than the maximum, there are still deficiencies in the performance of LPM that need to be addressed so that LPM performance can run optimally. Based on interviews conducted by the author of seven performance indicators, four indicators that are quite appropriate, namely the quantity of work, cooperation, trustworthiness / responsibility and initiative, just still need to be improved, but there are many indicators that need serious attention, namely work quality, work knowledge / insight and creativity. The seven indicators in LPM performance are very important things to be improved by LPM because it is related to the performance of LPM Penyengat Village. If the seven indicators are embedded in the LPM, the LPM can have performance according to the expectations of the Village and the Community and according to the main tasks and functions of the LPM
