Rubber collectors and rubber farmers establish good relations and influence each other. In the marketing process, collectors and farmers trust each other for smoothness and help each other. The reciprocal relationship makes collectors and farmers influence each other due to profit. This study aims to see and determine the Strategy of Rubber Collectors to Get Customers in KelurahanTanjungbatu Barat, Kecamatan Kundur, Kabuopaten Karimun. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach, to describe clearly the strategy of rubber collectors in getting suppliers. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews and documentation, the informant determination technique used is purposive sampling with a number of 8 informants, the criteria for collecting informants who have strategies in getting suppliers and rubber farmers who need collectors to sell rubber products. In this study, researchers used the theory of Rational Choice James S. Coleman. The analytical method used in this research is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing.
Based on the results, it was found that the strategy of rubber collectors in getting suppliers in KelurahanTanjungbatu Barat which was carried out between collectors and rubber farmers there were several strategies. First, Toke picks up harvests directly from farmers, of course, making it easier for rubber farmers who want to sell rubber in large quantities, Second, Giving Rewards on Certain Days such as giving THR to customers to strengthen relationships and establish good relationships. The third is providing loans to rubber farmers in the form of money loans, providing debt for basic necessities, and providing loans in the form of motorbikes and baskets for farmers in need. Fourth, buying rubber at a higher price than the market price of other rubber collectors with the aim of getting a bigger profit.
