INTERAKSI SOSIAL YANG MEMBENTUK PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP KAMPUNG ACEH DI KELURAHAN MUKAKUNING, KECAMATAN SEI BEDUK, KOTA BATAM

Abstract

Aceh village as a settlement this be very attached to a crime scene, this is supported by the discovery of a number of crime cases. Not only that Aceh village is also often associated with drugs. Then this phenomenon in Aceh village gave birth to a community stigma against Aceh village. The purpose of this research is to reveal public perception and community stigma towards Aceh village. This study uses qualitative research methods, with a descriptive approach. Because this research provides a systematic, factual, accurate and data description that is in accordance with the problems that are the focus of this research. The data collection techniques in this study used observation or observation data collection techniques, interviews, and documentation. In this study, there were 8 informants using purposive sampling technique. The results of the analysis in this study, namely the construction of society that is present through actions and social interactions that are continuously related to the reality that is shared and experienced together. So that when something is judged not to follow the customs or social values that exist in society, the community gives negative views and judgments. Which then forms a negative stigma in the form of Aceh village as a place for criminals and a village for drugs.
