Kampung Bugis is one of the areas that has carried out the development of kotaku program. The area does not have a household waste treatment system according to technical requirements. Overall, the slums in Kampung Bugis village, namely RW 001 and RW 006, consist of 385 household units that do not have wastewater facilities and infrastructure in accordance with technical requirements, and 11.24 ha of unguarded wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure, the total households that must be installed spald-T flow in coastal areas that are 200 households , then only realized 145 SR to 55 households that have not been covered by the SPALD-T flow. SPALD-T in Bugis Village is only focused on the disposal of feces and urine only. Of course this is still a problem because other disposals are still polluted into the sea. The research method in this study is descriptive qualitative. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, in this qualitative descriptive research researchers will provide a systematic, factual and accurate picture of the facts according to the scope of the study. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the Implementation of Sanitation Development in Kotaku Program in Kampung Bugis Village Tanjungpinang City in 2019 has not been running optimally, this is due to several things that can be described as follows: For existing but inadequate facilities such as septi tanks and pipes that have suffered a lot of damage, then insufficient number of facilities in the development of sanitation in bugis village. Then there are still some people who ignore it and consider sanitation is not so important, especially for those who live in Bugis Village around the coast. There is still low awareness and community involvement in sanitation management, especially at the stage of utilization and maintenance of sanitation facilities and infrastructure in their own residential environment
