Abstract

Ex-excavated Bauxite Mine in Tanjungpinang City is very worrying, because there are still former mines that are not reclaimed, some of the mines that are not stockpiled are left filled with water. Data from the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources shows that until now there are still many mining companies that have not carried out post-mining reclamation obligations. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of post-mining funds in Tanjungpinang City by using the theory of Van Metter and Van Horn. The method used is descriptive qualitative method with 7 informants and uses data reduction techniques, data presentation and draw conclusions. The results of the study found that currently the implementation has not been running optimally, there are still obstacles in its implementation such as the Riau Islands Province Energy and Mineral Resources Office has not been able to use guarantee funds to determine third parties in the implementation of post-mining reclamation and it is difficult for companies to communicate
