Abstract

Pangeran Island in Belibak Village, Palmatak District, is used as a tourist village in AnambasRegency. This village was the first village to be confirmed by the Anambas Islands Regency government in 2017 as a tourist village. This island is called by the name of the pangeran island by the surrounding community because there is a distinctive history attached to the island. The problem in this research is how the partnership between the village government and tourism awareness groups in tourism development on Pangeran Island. The purpose of this study was to determine the partnership between the village government and tourism awareness groups in the development of tourism on Pangeran island Belibak village. Partnership is a form of cooperation bond between two parties with other parties on the basis of agreement and mutual need. Pokdarwis is an institution in the community whose social activities seek to improve understanding of tourism, the role and participation of the community in the success of tourism development. And in an effort to increase tourist visits to the Anambas Islands Regency. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study and interview approach. The result of this research is to create facilities in the field of developing a more efficient Pangeran Island tourist village so that it
can be no less competitive with tours outside and within the country.
