IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PEMERINTAH KOTA BATAM DALAM RANGKA PERCEPATAN PENANGANAN CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19) TAHUN 2021

Abstract

Based on the Statistics of Covid-19 case data, Batam City is the area with the highest number of positive COVID-19 cases in the Riau Islands. The purpose of this study is to determine the efforts of the Batam City government in accelerating the handling of coronavirus disease 2019. The research method used is a descriptive method and uses a qualitative approach through data acquisition by observation, interviews and secondary data acquisition in the form of books, organizational structure, and some other literature related to this research. The theory used in this research is the stages of public policy according to (Putt and Springer). There are three policy processes, namely: formulation, implementation and evaluation. The results of the research that have been carried out are that the Batam City Government applies the rules for the Implementation of Micro-Based Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), Minimizing the spread of covid-19 to the community, the Batam City Government requires all its people to vaccinate in order to increase immunity and the Batam City Government pays attention to the people of the City.
