The Role of the Village GovernmentAbstract
Sungai Ungar Village is a village in Kundur District, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. The research "The Role of the Village Government in the Implementation of the Cash-Intensive Program (PKT) in Sungai Ungar Village, aims to obtain an overview of the Role of the Village Government in relation to the implementation of the Cash-Intensive Work. The type of research used is qualitative using the theory of the role of Ryaas Rasyid in Muhadam Labolo (2010:32) with the indicators of the theory of regulators, dynamists, and facilitators. The number of informants is 7 people. Data collection techniques are observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the research on the role of regulator, have not been effective in carrying out their role
regarding regulations and other regulations regarding the PKT Program in the Village. As a dynamist, it has not been effective because the guidance provided is not optimal, both for the management of the Cash-Intensive Program, and for the people who participate in the Cash-Intensive Program. As a Facilitator, the Village Government is good enough because it has taken into account
the amount of HOK wages. The results showed that the Government's role in the implementation of the Cash-Intensive Program has not been going well. Due to the lack of contribution from the village
government in providing knowledge, as well as guidance to the community regarding PKT activities, this makes the community assume that these activities are carried out based on the interests of certain groups.
