STRATEGI PEMERINTAH DESA TOAPAYA SELATAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN PEMBANGUNAN DESA

Abstract

South Toapaya village, Toapaya sub-district, Bintan district has become a village that is highlighted by the public because of its achievements as the best village it has achieved. This achievement as the best village and village government was achieved due to the joint efforts between the village government and the community in developing social, economic, service and other aspects. The purpose of this study is to find out the strategies carried out by the South Toapaya village government in improving village development. In addition, this study aims to study the strategies and steps that have been carried out by the South Toapaya village government.This study uses the theory of development strategy by Imam Hardjanto (2011) with a qualitative research type. Based on direct field research conducted by researchers, the results show that the South Toapaya village government's strategy in improving the development of South Toapaya village is very good and structured in a planned and systematic manner. The strategy followed by the implementation steps, starting from a growth strategy, a growth strategy with equity, an appropriate technology strategy, a strategy for basic development needs, a sustainable development strategy and the concept of empowerment, received appreciation from the people of South Toapaya village.
