Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of validity of podcast media development in biology learning on biodiversity material for class X SMA/MA. Kerati podcast learning media can help teachers and students use varied and fun learning media in the learning process. This research is a development research (R&D) using a 4D model. The stages in the 4D model include the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. The instrument used in this study consisted of an assessment of validity. The assessment of the validity of the podcast media development in biology learning is measured from two aspects, namely the validation of the material and the validation of the media. In addition to the validity assessment, this study also measures the level of practicality for the development of podcast media in biology learning. Based on the results of research on podcast media in biology learning on biodiversity material, the results of material validation are 92.2% and media validation is 92.9% so it is included in the very valid category.
