SELF REGULATED LEARNING SISWA SMP DAN SISWA SMA PADA ASPEK METAKOGNITIF

This study aims to perceive the difference self regulated learning to students of junior high school with students of senior high school in biology subjects using a comparative descriptive research method. The subject in this research is 8th grade junior high school students and 11th grade senior high school students. Instrument used is a self regulated learning test, consisting of 32 item. The data analysis is conducted using t-test. T-test result show that the hypothesis (H0) is there are significant differences in self regulated learning among junior high school students and high school students in biology subject is rejected, because there are no significant differences in self regulated learning between junior high school students and senior high school student in the biology subject. Evindenced by the difference coefficient value of 0,52 with significance (P>0,05). From its mean value known that student senior high school having self regulated learning higher than average value of 102,00 compared with students junior high school the average value of 101,48. Then the results of mean empirical obtained that self regulated learning junior high school and senior high school in the biology subject are in the medium
