ANALISIS KESULITAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X MIPA PADA MATERI SISTEM PERIODIK UNSUR DI SMA 1 TELUK BINTAN

Abstract

This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research, the background of this research is the learning difficulties of class X MIPA students at SMAN 1 Teluk Bintan in chemical material, especially the Elemental Periodic System material, the formulation of this research problem is to analyze student learning difficulties on the Elementary Periodic System material with the student's research subject class X MIPA, amounting to 31 people. The instruments used were open interviews and cognitive tests to students, with data collection techniques using interview guidelines and 5 essay questions. The results of the study showed the difficulties of students in learning the material on the Periodic System of Elements in the background of understanding the concept of students who did not understand the material thoroughly, clearly and correctly as well as external (environmental) factors such as economic and family factors of some students in class X MIPA SMAN 1 Teluk Bintan.
