Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop electronic modules based on riddle rhymes as well as to find out the validity and practicality of electronic modules on the resulting chemical material. This type of research was Research and development (R&D) using 4D development model consisting of 4 stages, namely define, design, development, and dessiminate, but this research was limited to the development stage. The subjects of the study were 1 chemical teacher and 20 students of MAN Tanjungpinang. Data collection was conducted using a poll with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results of the research shows the validity of electronic modules based on chemistry riddle material elements obtained from the results of media assessment, material and language respectively amounted to 88.16%, 87.50%, 92.50% with very valid criteria. The results of learning practitioners was tested to teachers and students at 90.00% and 84.50% with very practical criteria. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that the electronic module based on chemistry riddle rhymes that has been developed deserves used in elemental chemical learning processes.
