Abstract

This study discusses the validity of the excretion system learning media on the kidneys for grade VIII junior high school student. This study will reveal the kidney excretion system in the learning process. Subjects in the study were 20 students of class VIII and 1 science teacher at MTsN Tanjungpinang. Validated quisonair sheets will be used as an instrument in research to collect data about lecturer responses and teacher responses realeted to the validity of animated video instructional media in the kidney exrection system material. The data obtained were processed using descriptive analysis techniques with refrence to the systematic step of validity testing. The result of material validation for lecturers and teachers show that the material in the animated video learningmedia is said to be “ very valid†with percentage 90,13% aswell as the validation of the media obtained from lecturers and teachers “very valid†with percentage of 91%. so, it can be concluded that the kidney excretion system learning media in the kidneys for grade VIII SMP students is very valid for use in the learning process
