The subjects in this study were 16 mathematics education students taking integral calculus courses in the 2019/2020 academic year at Raja Ali Haji Maritime University. Furthermore, the subject was given an online self-efficacy questionnaire using a google form because learning was carried out online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Of these 16 subjects, the proportion of men and women was 8: 8. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews with research instruments, namely self-efficacy questionnaire sheets and interview guidelines. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that in the integral calculus course, male students tend to have higher self-efficacy than women from all aspects of self-efficacy, both performance experience. vicarious experience, verbal persuasion, and physiological and affective states. Female students are more anxious when they have bad past experiences, are more easily discouraged when they cannot answer integral calculus questions. Meanwhile, men have more confidence in processing their past experiences in implementing integral calculus questions to make them better, making other people's opinions as motivation generators, and being able to control their emotional state (mood).
