Abstract

Prokeme language is the secret language used by thugs, this slang language has developed in social groups, one of which is the transgender community. This study aims to describe the process of ordering the vocabulary of transgender slang in the city of Tanjungpinang. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, the data of this study are in the form of transgender slang vocabulary. The data source is the research of transgender women who are on Jalan Basuki Rahmat, Tanjungpinang City. Data collection was carried out by field studies using observation, interview, tapping, recording, and note-taking methods. The research instrument used was in the form of additives in morphology. Data were analyzed using distributional methods. Check the validity of the data in the form of sources, methods and theories. The results of this study are that there are infix forms (inserts), confix forms (prefixes and suffixes), suffix forms (suffixes), and manasuka forms. The results showed that the use of the suffix (suffix) -ong form and the manasuka form which is more commonly used by transgender women in Tanjungpinang until now, the formulas used are changes in vowels and consonants at the beginning of the syllable, changes and ending in words. Furthermore, the forms of research results do not follow the appropriate ordering process or standard rules, this ordering process does not follow definite rules or regulations.
