Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) content validity, (2) empirical validity (3) reliability, (4) discriminating power, and (5) the level of difficulty of daily test questions for seventh grade students of SMPIT As-Sakinah Tanjungpinang on global warming material. The subjects of this study were female seventh grade students at SMPIT As-Sakinah Tanjungpinang as many as 24 people. This research is a quantitative descriptive analysis research. The daily test questions developed by the teacher are 20 multiple choice questions. The methods used in data collection are Questionnaire Validation by Expert Validators, Formative Tests and documentation. The results showed that (1) in terms of content validity it was a good question because the results of the analysis of expert validator 1 for the content aspect were at a score of 82.5 and for the grammatical aspect it was at a score of 80 while the results of the validity of the expert validator 2 for the content aspect is at a score of 74% and for the grammatical aspect it is at a score of 80% (2) based on the results of the analysis of empirical validity, valid questions are 4 questions and invalid questions are 16 questions so that the daily test questions are declared not good (3) in terms of reliability, including questions that are not reliable on the object being measured because the reliability is low, namely 0.14. (4) in terms of difficulty, the questions are difficult and moderate questions because they consist of 7 difficult questions, 7 medium questions, 6 easy questions (5) in terms of discriminating power, the questions are quite good questions, because 2 questions have no distinguishing power, 4 The questions include very weak discriminatory power, 4 questions have weak discriminating power, 6 questions have sufficient discrepancy and 4 questions include good discriminating power.
