PENGEMBANGAN GAME EDUKASI MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN CONSTRUCT 2 PADA MATERI RELASI DAN FUNGSI KELAS VIII SMP

The purpose of this study was to describe the development of mathematics education games using construct 2 on the material relations and functions of class VIII SMP that are valid and practical for students. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). The research and development model used is the 4D Model developed by Thiagarajan (1974) which consists of four stages, namely Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. This research was only carried out until the development stage, namely validity and practicality. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires and documentation. The research instrument used was an expert validation sheet and a questionnaire response sheet for educators and students. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The data obtained is qualitative data, so the data must be converted into quantitative data using MSR. In terms of the validity of the results of the expert validation analysis on the material aspect, it received an assessment of 73.14% with valid criteria and for the results of the expert validation analysis on the media aspect it obtained an assessment of 72.18% with valid criteria. In terms of practicality, the results of the questionnaire data analysis were 82.35% for educators and 91.29% for students with very practical criteria. The results showed that the mathematics education game developed was valid and practical.
