Abstrak

Multiple chemical representation skills can contribute to student development and understanding. Multiple representation abilities are very important to pay attention to students' representation abilities so that students can understand chemistry and think scientifically. This study aims to: 1) determine the students' macroscopic representation ability on stoichiometric material; 2) Knowing students' microscopic representation skills on stoichiometric material; 3) Knowing students' symbolic representation skills on stoichiometric material. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects used in this study were students of class X Electrical Power Installation at SMK Negeri 3 Tanjungpinang. The instruments used in this study were tests, interviews, and documentation. Based on the data analysis, it was obtained that the macroscopic representation ability of students of class X Electrical Power Installation was 86.7% with a very good ability category. The ability of microscopic representation of class X Electrical Power Installation students is 48.21% in the category of sufficient ability. The ability of symbolic representation of students of class X Electrical Power Installation is 67% with good category.
