ANALISIS MAJAS PUISI DI ATAS BATIK KUMPULAN PUISI SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA KEPULAUAN RIAU

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of majas simile, personification, hyperbole, and metaphor in Poetry on Batik Collection of Poetry students of Riau Islands Junior High School. Through descriptive analysis methods, researchers analyzed the use of majas on 92 poem titles.The results showed that in Poetry on Batik The Poetry Collection of Riau Islands Junior High School Students found that 85 poems use majas, while 7 poems do not use majas simile, majas personification, majas hyperbole, and majas metaphor. Majas simile found as many as 26 titles of poetry, majas personification as many as 32 titles, majas hiperbola as many as 34 titles of poetry, and majas metaphor as many as 52 titles of poetry.The results of the research should be able to develop science in the field of literature, especially majas in poetry collections. For other researchers it is recommended to produce better research with other research objects. The results of this study should also be used as material for Indonesian Language and Literature teachers in developing students' ability to analyze elements of poetry, especially majas.n.
