PENGUASAAN SISWA TERHADAP ASPEK NATURE OF SCIENCE (SAINS SEBAGAI SIKAP) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA DI SMP NEGERI 1 TANJUNGPINANG

This article was written to describe student’s mastery of Nature of science aspects (science as attitude) in science learning at SMP Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang. This research is description with quantitative approach. Sample of this research was 131 of grade VIII students in academic year of 2019/2020 which is determined using simple random sampling tehhnique. For collecting the data, the researcher was using instrumentation test Nature of Science. Based on the result of this reseach shows that student’s mastery of NOS apects (science as attitude) was in the good category and with in average value was 79%. For the indicator of science as attitude, the highest achievement is in the indicators that scientists must have a high curiosity (86%) with very good category, while for the lowest achievement is in the indicators of science was consistent (68%) with good category. Therefore, can be concluded that student’s mastery of NOS apects (science as attitude) in science learning at SMP Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang was good.
