Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause student learning difficulties in integrated science subjects at SMP Negeri 10 Tanjungpinang. The approach used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method, namely a research method that aims to explain, interpret, and describe current events or events. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire instrument, making the instrument in the questionnaire based on factors that affect student learning difficulties, namely internal and external. The results showed that the most influential factor causing learning difficulties was motivation, the results of the student questionnaire responses based on each indicator were motivation with a percentage of 78.6%, interest with a percentage of 77.66%, attitude with a percentage of 62.05%, school environment with a percentage of 78.3%, family environment with a percentage of 72.32%..
