Abstract

Collection of folk tales in books Patahnya Gunung Daik. This study is intended to determine the intrinsic elements contained in the story Patahnya Gunung Daik. To achieve these abjectives using a qualitative descriptive menthod. Qualitative method is research in the form of words. The technique used in analyzing folklore uses the read and listen technique which is done by reading and listening to a story. Based on the results of research on the analysis of the intrinsic elements of folklore Patahnya Gunung Daik by Abdul Razak. Can also be used in clasroom learning based on basic competencies 3.7 identify the values and content contained in folklore (saga) both oral and written. The basis is an elaboration of the competency standard for understanding the folklore that is told. Students are able to determine the intrinsic elements of folklore that they listen to through the reader or read to themselves and enjoy literary works to add insight and improve language skills.
