ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN PESERTA DIDIK DAN GURU DALAM PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PADA MATERI KEANEKARAGAMAN HAYATI BERORIENTASI KEMARITIMAN

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the needs of teachers and students in developing learning media on maritime-oriented biodiversity materials. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of this study was a biology education teacher at SMA Negeri 2 Tanjungpinang and 5 students of class X science. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis of the results of interviews and looking for the average results of user questionnaires which are then described qualitatively. The results of data collection indicate that (1) the limitations of the existing learning media at SMA Negeri 2 Tanjungpinang (2) the teachers are constrained in developing electronic learning media in accordance with the times due to lack of innovation in developing (3) the existing media has not been varied (4) material diversity Maritime-oriented biodiversity is not fully studied, students are required to learn independently. based on interviews and needs questionnaires, teachers and students need a variety of learning media that can help the learning process in maritime-oriented biodiversity material which is very broad and difficult to understand, so that learning can be fully studied by students with the help of learning media. The expected learning media is electronic learning media that is easily accessible anywhere, what is fun is that there is audio-visual so that learning is more interesting.
