Abstract

This study aims to describe Biology teacher prospective' perceptions toward the implementation of PLP during the Covid-19 pandemic period. Sampling using total sampling technique. The sample in this study was 58 prospective biology teacher students studying at the Raja Ali Haji Maritime University (UMRAH) Tanjungpinang City. This research is quantitative descriptive. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire on the perception of the implementation of PLP during the COVID-19 pandemic as the main data and an open questionnaire as additional data for the validity of the research data. The researcher used the Likert Scale assessment criteria to measure the results of a closed questionnaire on students' perceptions. Based on the results of the study it is known that 95% are in the good category and 5% are in the very good category. Furthermore, students' perceptions of the implementation of PLP during the covid-19 pandemic by prospective student biology teachers were generally in a good category. While the three indicators in response, opinion, and evaluation PLP I and PLP II are also at the good category level.
