PENGARUH ALAT TANGKAP, BIAYA BAHAN BAKAR DAN BIAYA PERAWATAN KAPAL TERHADAP INCOME NELAYAN DI KELURAHAN SEI ENAM KECAMATAN BINTAN TIMUR KABUPATEN BINTAN

Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of fishing gear, fuel costs and ship maintenance costs on fishermen's income in Sei Enam Village, East Bintan District, Bintan Regency. The population of this study were all fishermen in Sei Enam Village, East Bintan District, Bintan Regency. The sampling method in this study used purposive sampling and obtained 36 samples that met the criteria. This study uses the SPSS 26 application. The research period is October, November, and December 2020. The analytical technique used in this study uses the classical assumption test, namely normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test and heteroscedasticity test. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that fishing gear partially affects fishermen's income, fuel costs affect fishermen's income, ship maintenance costs do not affect fishermen's income, and simultaneously fishing gear, fuel costs, and boat maintenance costs affect fishermen's income. The independent variables in this study were fishing gear, fuel costs, and ship maintenance costs were able to explain 79.7% of the dependent variable, namely income, while the remaining 20.3% was explained by other variables not explained in this study.
