Abstract

High fishermen’s income shows prosperity for fishermen, because fishermen are always associated or closely related to poverty and fluctuating incomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sea catch revenue and the solar expense on the income of fishermen with a period of three months, namely in June, July dan August. The population in this study were all catch fishermen in the village of Resang as many as 91 people. The sampling method uses purposive sampling and 33 samples are obtained so that the amount of data in this study is 99 data. The analysis technique used in this study uses the classic assumption test, namely normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, and heteroscedasticity test. Hypothesis testing uses multiple linear regression. The result of this study indicate that sea catch revenue partially has a significant positive effect on fishermen’s income and solar oil expense partially has a significant negative effect on fishermen’s income. Adjusted R square value of 0,953 or 95,3% can be concluded that the dependent variable is fishermen’s income can be explained by the independent variable namely sea catch revenue and solar oil expense load of 95,3%, and the remaning 4,7% is explained by the variables another variable.
