Abstract

In the world of aviation, not only passengers can be transported by aircraft but goods can also be
carried by aircraft. Airplanes are divided into 2 types, namely special passenger aircraft and passenger
carry-on items and aircraft that only specifically carry shipments to be sent from one city to another.
Cargo aircraft have various types and sizes from small-bodied aircraft to bodied aircraft. big . each
aircraft size affects the size of the goods to be delivered. Therefore, this research entitled
Determination System for Cargo Airplane Using the Certainty Factor Method Based on the Website
at PT. Trans Mandiri Semesta at Hang Nadim Airport, Batam, which is made to process
recommendations for which aircraft meet the criteria in sending an item from the city of origin to the
destination city using the Certainty Facktor method. So from these data items that have light mass,
small dimensions, and shipments of one island, the aircraft recommendation is ATR-Series 72.
