Abstract

State Senior High School (SMAN) 2 Tanjungpinang is a senior high school located on Jalan Basuki Rahmah, Tanjong Ayun Sakti, Bukit Bestari, Tanjungpinang City, Riau Islands 29113.Scheduling is a planning activity for each activity as part of the overall work that must be done at the same time. Scheduling subjects that still use semi - manual often have a lot of clashes, so that improvements must be made to get scheduling without clashes. Therefore, we need a program that can make the scheduling of subjects at SMA 2 Tanjungpinang. This problem will be modeled using a genetic algorithm. The process requires the best fitness value obtained from the selection, crossover and mutation processes. After getting the best fitness value from the previous process. The final result is a scheduling of subjects without clashing.
