Penentuan Titik Lokasi Pegolahan Air Bersih Menggunakan Algoritma Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) (STUDI KASUS : Desa Berakit)
Determination of location is very important in the location of clean water treatment because the determination of a good and effective location will benefit the residents of the region or village in reaching to places where there is clean water because clean water is a source of life in human activities. The village already has an old water treatment plant, but the long distance is the reason for the ineffectiveness of the site, therefore it will be analyzed again to be chosen as a new water treatment site. This research was conducted to obtain an effective location as a place for water treatment. The method used in this study is the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. This research takes a case study in Berakit Village, Bintan, Riau Islands. The data taken is the coordinate points of 422 coordinated houses of the Berakit village. In this study, the Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm can be used to find the location of the village water treatment based on the best fitness value obtained with a parameter of 5 particles, three indicators namely standard deviation, distance of particles to long processing, and violations where particles must be within 5 meters of the house resident, c1 = 2, c2 = 2, 1 swarm and using the input coordinates of the resident's house, get the results of the selected coordinate location (1.211041; 104.576906) the third iteration with a fitness value of 0.36513917984048 as a water treatment facility for Desa Berakit.
