Abstract

As the population increases, the need to meet daily needs such as drinking, cooking, washing, bathing, and other activities also increases. This is also related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) point 6 which contains "Access to clean water and sanitation" which aims to ensure the availability of clean water for living things. PDAM is a company engaged in water supply services throughout Indonesia. Every month the PDAM sends an officer to the customer's house to check and record the amount of water usage through the water meter. The water meter used by the PDAM is still analog so that customers have difficulty reading the amount of water usage. The distribution of water from PDAM is of course not always perfect and there are sometimes cases of water loss. The causes of water loss in PDAMs are usually physical losses due to leaky pipelines and commercial losses due to inaccurate water meter measurements for customers. The purpose of this research is to calibrate the Water Flow Sensor which functions as a measurement of water flow with better accuracy. The results of the research at the time of calibrating the Water Flow Sensor with 10 experiments on seven different parameters showed that the RMSE value was 0.31 L / m or deviated by about 4.12%.
