ANALISIS PERFORMANSI OPERATOR TELKOMSEL PADA JARINGAN 4G DI RUTE PELAYARAN BATAM – TANJUNG BALAI KARIMUN DENGAN APLIKASI G-NETTRACK PRO

Abstract

The rapid development of 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) network implemented by the national secaea to reach all corners of the region and islands in Indonesia. 4G networks have better access and speed than 3G. With high mobility of people who need access to communication that is always connected anywhere without exception, both using sea transportation that is commonly used in riau islands. Now measurement of 4G network measurement can be done on mobile phone using vehicle or called drive test method using G-NetTrack Pro application. The stages carried out in this study were to conduct a survey and disseminate questionnaires, then determine the operator to be measured, namely Telkomsel operators. Measurements are carried out on the batam shipping lane – Tanjung Balai Karimun. Parameters used in 4G network quality measurement are RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, Throughput Downlink and Uplink. The measurement result of 4G network shows RSRP parameter of Telkomsel operator with average value of -103 dBm. As for RSRQ parameters, Telkomsel operators with an average value of -14.13 dB and. As well as for SINR parameters, Telkomsel operator with an average value of -2.15 dB. For Throughtput Downlink and Uplink operators, Telkomsel's internet speed gets maximum value with a value of 665 Kbps Downlink and Uplink 817 Kbps.
